Artist Bio //
Terez Benoit is a higher education professional and multi-disciplined commercial artist with 8 years of experience in artistic leadership and production management for both corporate clients and independent projects. Highly skilled in managing animation production pipelines, including 5 narrative short films utilizing 2D, 3D, motion capture, and stop-motion animation techniques. Prominent clients, across many mediums, include General Motors, Pearson Publishing (US and UK), Bloomsbury Publishing (UK), American Bar Association, Cleveland Cavaliers NBA E-sports, and more.
Benoit earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation with an Emphasis in Graphic Design from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2019. Benoit has garnered awards across multiple disciplines, including Best Collaborators (General Motors, 2018) and Final Selection at Celebrating a Decade of Animated Brilliance: The Cleveland Institute of Art Student Film Showcase (2023). She was honored with the opportunity to act as Juror for the Scholastic Art + Writing Awards (2022, 2024) and to be an Alumni Guest Speaker at the Cleveland Institute of Art on the topics of hurricane restoration, relief, and the arts (2023 - 2025). Benoit’s work has been screened in the Planetarium at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, the Reinberger Gallery (Cleveland, OH), and on the Power Portal in Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.
Currently, Benoit lives in South Louisiana where she serves remotely as an Alumni Council Member and Alumni Ambassador at the Cleveland Institute of Art. As a current student of the College Counseling program at UCSD Extended Studies (expected 2026), she seeks to integrate her education and art experience to guide the next generation of young artists to pursue creative careers.
